Style Sunday: My Bookcase Christmas Gift

This is my big Christmas gift I received from my parents early. It's the Avington Bookshelf in Dark Tobacco I've wanted from Target for years now. It's a more sophisticated option than the collegiate IKEA Expedit unit to store my beloved books (and white pieces). This is how I styled it...

The second shelf is full of books on Italy.

I need to think of what to put on top though... 

A big white ceramic piece?

Possibly a pyramid of larger coffee table books! 

(I have four tall piles on the lower shelf of my cocktail table as well as four in my end tables.)
