25. Joie de Vivre: Secrets of Wining, Dining and Romancing Like the French by Harriet Welty Rochefort
I expected this to be light reading, and I'm glad it wasn't. Instead, this is an intense look at the French and their way of life. The author married a Frenchman and has lived as an expat for decades. She is such a wonderful observer and I highly recommend her writing.
